Branches are tetrahedral, grayish-pubescent, with shortened lateral shoots. Leaves are small, dark green, opposite, oblong-lanceolate. Flowers are five-membered, small. The calyx is green, the corolla is light purple, rarely white. Blooming period is in June – July.
